Nouns

This week we are focusing on nouns in Language Arts. Things to remember...
-A noun is a person, place, thing, or idea.
-Remember to look for noun markers (a, an, and the) which can help you identify nouns that are close by.
-Nouns can be common (general and nonspecific, like "cat") or proper (specific and begin with a capital letter, like "Mrs. Russell").
-Nouns are either concrete (can be sensed by the five senses, like "flower") or abstract (can't be sensed, like "love").
